DoimoCucine is ready for Casa Decor 2026
From 9 April to 24 May we will be in Madrid to present “La cocina como impronta”, a quiet reinterpretation of domestic tradition in the form of a minimalist and natural design for everyday living.
This itinerant Spanish event, which combines the discovery of new interior design trends with the rediscovery of the country’s architectural heritage, arrives this year in the heart of the Barrio de las Letras, the literary quarter that once hosted many of the leading figures of the “Siglo de Oro” between the late 15th century and the second half of the 17th century.
The building at Calle San Agustín 11, host to the 2026 edition – the sixty-first – is awaiting its transformation into the Hotel Sir Agustin. It was constructed over three years, starting in 1892, as a noble urban residence with a sober classical façade, a corner tower and elegant, monumental interiors. Over time, it was adapted into a convent and a school, acquiring an additional fourth floor and a chapel.
The DoimoCucine installation titled “The Kitchen like an Impronta” draws on one of the compositions from the new Impronta collection, created by the architect Ferruccio Laviani and his team, recently presented in Milan. “Desco” develops around an essential island – warm and functional – with a minimal, natural design conceived to be inhabited rather than observed. This kitchen is also an invitation to immerse oneself in forms, materials and stories, and includes hidden elements such as the wine cellar, positioned behind the linear kitchen units and accessible through a door-panel. This slow, in-depth immersion into the world of Doimo Cucine leads toward the perception of beauty that arises from a balance between life and design.
See you in Madrid.
